Closing Event – Atelier and Colloquium
The research project “Cultural Spaces and Design” will conclude its three-year work and hold an international conference in Basel, Switzerland, at which our research shall be presented and evaluated. This closing event will bring together researchers, educators, design practitioners, and design students from various countries and continents. We will examine globalisation as a design issue and elaborate on the main aspects relevant to design education. The conference consists of two parts: the application-oriented “Atelier” (June 18-20) featuring international workshops, and the subsequent “Colloquium” (June 20-22) focusing on critical reflection and discussion. In addition, student projects, travel documentations, and publications will be exhibited at both venues.
